My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places,  Isaiah 32:18

Hello, friends!

One evening last week, I was looking out our picture window as the sun was setting and saw these two deer grazing at the back of the property. Then I saw a jackrabbit with them, and that rabbit was not afraid to get near the deer for some munching as well. It was a tender scene, and I found a nice bible verse to express peace for our future.

Isaiah chapter 32 details some features in the future reign of our Messiah, Jesus Christ, in the millennial kingdom (the one thousand years on earth after the tribulation). During this one-thousand-year period, there will be peace and protection for God’s children. This verse in chapter 32, is a promise for peace and a prophecy for the future. If you would like to do a deep study about this, here is a link to a great pastor’s explanation, long but full to amazing truths- click on this blue link When Jesus Comes

Although it is a normal human feeling to be alarmed at today’s world, we should remember that someday the peace of God will prevail. All through the bible, we are told that we have peace with God because of putting our faith and life with Jesus. That peace means we are no longer God’s enemy, but secure in His hands forever.

May your week have glimpses of God’s good will and assurance of His peace in your heart.

Prayer for today:

Dear heavenly Father, grant us the wherewithal to read about Your promises in our bibles and to rest in the peace You provide no matter our circumstances in this earthly life. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen

Gaby
