The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.

Psalm 145:9

Good morning, all!

There are more deer in our area coming out and grazing on the wild grasses. These two are showing off their new tender growth of antlers. They were in the meadow and as I photographed them from afar, they could hear the clicks of my camera. It amazes me how their hearing and sight are so sensitive. Their antlers are in the “velvet” stage in which the antlers are tender and easily breakable, but they will be full grown and solid in a couple of months.

This verse in Psalms is toward the end of king David’s writings. The Psalm is a song to commemorate the magnificence of God and His unwavering love. All through the bible we see how God wants to bless His people and we see how His people disregard the commandments of the Lord. We rebel and want our own way. Thankfully, God gave us a pathway back to Him through our Lord Jesus Christ and mercifully we are covered by His righteousness when we surrendered our life to Him. God’s tender mercies for His children last forever. I am grateful for that and for knowing that He loves me.

May your week be filled with showing tenderness to others and being merciful.

Prayer for today:

Heavenly Father, we are thankful that You cared so much for people and gave us a way to receive Your mercy and love through our Lord Jesus Christ. May we continue to trust You and show Your love to others and point them to who You are. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

Gaby
