Good morning, friends and Happy February!

A few evenings ago, while the snow was still on the ground, we had a pretty sunset that I could see from our back window. I went outside to photograph it quickly as it was still bitterly cold out there, but the quietness and stillness in the night air was powerful as I stood there long enough to take in the beauty of it all.

I found this bible verse in Isaiah to go with this image. This verse speaks to the reign of Jesus, our King, in the Millennial kingdom on earth. There will be peace during those one thousand years. The plan of God may seem like a fantastical concept, but the grace and truth of His revelation show His will for us who have put our faith in Christ Jesus. We need not worry about the future as He has it all in His hands and will provide the peace that surpasses our understanding – we just need to trust Him as He will take care of it all.

I confess that I do get some stress from seeing the news of this world and country but then I am reminded that the righteousness of Jesus covers God’s children, and His gift of faith assures us of our final peace.
